BYU (0-3 in Quad 1 Opportunities)

The Cougars had a golden opportunity this Saturday to get off this list. On the road at TCU, BYU used a 14-0 run late in the first half to take a three point lead into the break. They couldn't hold on to it, eventually dropping a close game to the Horned Frogs by a score of 71-67. The loss dropped them to 10-5 overall and 1-3 in the Big 12.

BYU currently sports a NET ranking of 47, as well as a KenPom ranking of 47 as well. Their best win is a Quad 2 win against Arizona State; they are 0-4 in all other Quad 1 & Quad 2 games. Like Cincinnati, they will have ample opportunities to pick up Quad 1 wins in Big 12 conference play.

The Cougars currently have eight remaining Quad 1 games; even winning three or four while not taking any bad losses could be enough to get them a bid in the NCAA tournament. However, they will first need to break the three-game losing streak they are currently on. A home game against Oklahoma State should help with that.
