Bracketology 2025: Auburn, Memphis, and WVU among winners from Feast Week results
8. Butler Bulldogs
After losing to Austin Peay in the opening week, Butler looked to be a bottom-tier team in the Big East. However, they’ve rebounded since, beating SMU at home before beating both Northwestern and Mississippi State in the Arizona Tip-Off. The Big East struggled as a group but Butler was the exception in Feast Week.
7. Arizona State Sun Devils
The Acrisure Classic was an underrated field overall but ASU was able to win it, beating two of the top mid-majors in the country in New Mexico and Saint Mary’s. The Big 12 looks to be loaded from top to bottom but the Sun Devils seem to be capable to stay in the postseason mix.
6. Drake Bulldogs
It was thought to be a rebuilding year for Drake about losing the DeVries family this offseason but the program hasn’t taken a step back, winning the Charleston Classic. Beating Miami, FAU, and Vandy doesn’t have the greatest of value but right now, these could be three Quad 2 victories for the unbeaten MVC program, putting them in the at-large mix.
5. Memphis Tigers
The Tigers played four games during this span, including a neutral site win over San Francisco before going to the Maui Invitational. Wins over UConn and Michigan State should be big for the AAC program, while losing to the Auburn Tigers doesn’t hurt at all. The American has been bad to start the season but Memphis is the exception and the one team that can get an at-large bid out of the group.
