4. Oklahoma Sooners

The Sooners were a preseason bottom-3 team in the SEC and didn’t have a lot of hype entering the Battle 4 Atlantis. However, they won the event, beating Providence, Louisville, and Arizona in the field. Even if this isn’t the strongest three-game sweep for a team, the currently unbeaten Sooners have announced itself as a real threat in the league.

3. Oregon Ducks

Oregon didn’t have a resume before the Players Era Tournament but left with the best of them, defeating Texas A&M, San Diego State, and Alabama to win the title. The win over the Crimson Tide is a signature win, with all three likely being in the Quad 1 range. This past week should vault the Ducks into the contender tier in the Big Ten.

2. West Virginia Mountaineers

It may be controversial that Oklahoma isn’t even the biggest Bracketology winner out of the Battle 4 Atlantis. Still West Virginia wasn’t viewed as a postseason team at all, especially after losing to Pittsburgh by 20+ points earlier. But they got possibly the best win of any team in Feast Week, upsetting Gonzaga in the opening round. Following that up by beating Arizona has put them in a great position this season to be in the at-large picture.

1. Auburn Tigers

Whoever wins the Maui Invitational tends to get multiple signature wins and that was the case for the Tigers. They beat Iowa State in a top-5 opening round matchup, before beating North Carolina and Memphis. With a neutral site win over Houston already on the resume, the Tigers have the case of having the best overall resume of any team and in position for the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
