Key Reserves

Kolby King, Guard

Former Tulane guard Kolby King looks poised to have a key role in Butler's backcourt rotation this coming season. King is coming off a strong sophomore campaign at Tulane that saw him average 10.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg, and 1.8 apg while shooting nearly 38% from beyond the arc. King is a strong defender who averaged 1.4 steals per game last season, and could be ready to make a jump on the defensive end. King's strong 3-point shooting will also be vital for the Dawgs this year and he will likely be key in replacing DJ Davis' 3-point production from last year.

Landon Moore, Guard

Landon Moore enters his junior year vying for an elevated role in Butler's rotation. Last season, Moore averaged 3.8 ppg, 1.3 rpg, and 1.3 apg in his 15.8 minutes per game. Moore has a solid 3-point shot, a he shot 37.3% from beyond the arc last year with the team. All things considered, Moore's role will likely be similar to last year's, though he does have the potential to earn more minutes this year.

Boden Kapke, Forward/Center

As a true freshman last year, Kapke had a rather limited role in Butler's rotation, playing just 7 minutes per game over the course of 22 games. That being said, Kapke is likely to take on an increased role that will likely look similar to the role Andre Screen had with the team last season. Kapke made the most of his time of the floor last year and there's a good chance he further develops during his sophomore year.

Jamie Kaiser Jr, Guard/Forward

A former top 100 recruit, Jamie Kaiser Jr joins the Bulldogs after spending his freshman year at Maryland. Kaiser averaged 4.4 ppg in his freshman year while playing just over 19 minutes per game. While Kaiser struggled and shot just 26.9% from the field last year, he will join a very different offensive system at Butler that should allow him to greatly improve. However, Kaiser will be out indefinitely to begin the season due to an ankle injury, however, it is not believed to be a long-term injury and thus, he should see the court sooner rather than later.

Colt Langdon, Forward

Class of 2025 recruit Colt Langdon joins the Bulldogs after reclassing to this year's class and is set to redshirt this year. That being said, he will see some action on the court, and will be an interesting player to watch as he is set to be a crucial piece for Butler in the coming years. Langdon set his high school's total scoring record despite only playing three years. Langdon could get some rotation minutes in the limited number of games he can play in this year, but he is a name to remember going forward.
