Miami Heat
No picks
One of two teams without a single pick in the draft, Miami traded its first to complete the trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo. That’s better than anyone the franchise could’ve taken at No. 13, and now they’re set to be much more competitive in the Eastern Conference. For that reason alone, the Heat should get a good grade, despite not making a single pick.Â
Grade: A
Milwaukee Bucks
10. Brayden Burries
- 2025-26 stats (Arizona): 16.1 ppg and 4.9 rpg
13. (via Miami Heat) - Nate Ament
- 2025-26 stats (Tennessee): 16.7 ppg and 6.3 rpg
60. Malique Lewis
- 2025-26 stats (S.E. Melbourne): 7.1 ppg and 4.3 rpg
After years of dealing with whether superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo would get traded or not, the Bucks finally made the move, sending him to the Miami Heat. They got the 13th pick in exchange, which ended up being Ament, a guy with top-5 potential and a the kind of high-risk and high-reward prospect to take as they fully commit to a rebuild. Buries, one of the top shooters in the class and a great athlete, was another player who slid just enough for Milwaukee to benefit.
Grade: A+
Minnesota Timberwolves
33. Isaiah Evans
- 2025-26 stats (Duke): 15 ppg and 3.2 rpg
59. Trey Kaufmann-Renn
- 2025-26 stats (Purdue): 14.2 ppg and 8.3 rpg
The biggest move Minnesota made in the NBA Draft was trading Julius Randle and its No. 28 pick to Brooklyn to offload some salary. It allowed them to pay guard Ayo Dosunmu and, at 33, to take Evans, one of the best pure shooters in the class, and a wing who should be able to thrive playing next to Anthony Edwards. Kaufman-Renn is a good pick at the end of the draft with his rebounding ability as they retook their frontcourt.
