The Kansas Jayhawks has been one of the most dominant and consistent programs in all of College Basketball. They’ve been in every AP top 25 poll since 2009 and have gotten at least a four seed in every NCAA Tournament since 2000. However, a lot of streaks for the program may be ending soon after the recent run of play.
I've been watching Kansas basketball for 25+ years and I can say with confidence this is the worst KU team I've ever seen. Just pathetic.

In the past couple of weeks, Kansas lost to rival BYU and last weekend, fell at Utah. That loss put them on the edge of the rankings, listed at No. 23 entering this week. Their next game was at a BYU squad that’s squarely on the bubble and needed a signature win to get on the right side of it.
Forget worst Kansas team under Bill Self, this is the worst Kansas basketball team EVER

On Tuesday night, the Jayhawks found themselves getting dominated from literal start to finish. They started down 8-0 to start the game and were trailing by 20 points on the road at halftime. Kansas didn’t even try to start a comeback, falling by as many as 39 points to the Cougars in the second half before losing 91-57.
FINAL: BYU 91, No. 23 Kansas 57

Equals Kansas' largest loss of the Bill Self era.
The defense for Kansas let them down all game, allowing 50% shooting before the final few minutes and 14 three-pointers allowed. Only Hunter Dickerson was in double figures, with the Jayhawks shooting under 40% on the night.

The reactions online were brutal towards Coach Bill Self and the roster and the overall play of the team in the last couple of weeks. They’re still perfectly fine to make the NCAA Tournament, thanks to wins over Duke and Michigan State in the non-conference. But the seeding likely will be the lowest they’ve had in decades, along with very likely falling out of the next top-25 AP poll.
Me: "Kansas is still awesome, everyone should back them, they won't let you down"

The good news for Kansas is that the next two opponents are at the bottom of the Big 12, taking on OK State at home and Colorado on the road. But based on how the team has played, maybe those games aren’t guaranteed. We’ve never seen the Jayhawks at this level in the modern era, and definitely not any of the younger fans. They still have time to recover to make a potential postseason run but time is starting to run out.
