It’s been just under a month since the national championship concluded and there’s been a ton of roster movement throughout college basketball. Between the NBA Draft entrants, transfer portal decisions and notable class of 2026 prospects picking teams, we have several programs who have moved up and down since the first “way too early” article early in April.

Here’s the updated way too early top-25 power rankings, including a few honorable mentions.

Honorable mention: Missouri Tigers

The Tigers’ two main offseason pickups have been forwards, Jamier Jones and Providence and Bryson Tiller, another breakout candidate coming from Kansas. The top recruiting class, led by 5-stars, Jason Crowe Jr. and Toni Bryant, will be key in determining whether Missouri has top-25 potential next year.

HM: Saint Louis Billikens

The Billikens returns several double-digit caliber scorers from a 29-win team, including Trey Green Amari McCottry and Ishan Sharma. Replacing A-10 Player of the Year Robbie Avila will be difficult but Saint Louis did land a pair of transfer forwards in Elijah Strong (South Carolina) and Alon Michaeli (Colorado).

HM: Texas A&M Aggies

After a year without any guards standing out offensively, the Aggies went out and landed one of college basketball’s best scorers in PJ Haggerty, who averaged 23.4 ppg at Kansas State last season. He and former McNeese State guard Tyshawn Archie will be the new backcourt, joined by former G Leaguer, Bryson Warren.

HM: Iowa Hawkeyes

Star guard Bennett Stirtz is gone, and March Madness hero Alvaro Folguerias transferred out, but the Hawkeyes still bring back plenty of production. Guys such as Kael Combs, Cam Manyawu, and Cooper Koch will have larger roles next year, while Saint Mary’s transfer Andrew McKeever gives them needed frontcourt depth inside.
