For a while, it looked as if Jackson was definitely gone from the Red Storm. Instead, he’s one of the last men standing for them, with just about everyone else gone. They should have a true PG this time around, with Ellis coming over from Europe to secure that position.
Replacing Ejiofor inside is Freeman, an all-league caliber frontcourt player. Prey is due for a larger role after a strong performance in March, although missing out on Massamba Diop is a big blow for the team. There’s more work to do with the roster, but Coach Rick Pitino should have them in the top-25 range by the start of next season.
