12. Louisville Cardinals

Likely departures

  • Mikel Brown (18.2 ppg and 4.7 apg)
  • Ryan Conwell (18.8 ppg and 4.8 rpg)
  • J’Vonne Hadley (11.5 ppg and 5.1 rpg)
  • Isaac McKneely (10.9 ppg and 3.0 rpg)
  • Sanada Fru (9.0 ppg and 6.1 rpg)
  • Khani Rooths (5.3 ppg and 4.3 rpg)
  • Aly Khalifa (3.3 ppg and 2.5 apg)
  • Kobe Rodgers (3.3 ppg and 2.5 rpg)
  • Vangelis Zougris (2.6 ppg and 2.4 rpg)
  • Kasean Pyror (2.2 ppg and 1.8 rpg)

Likely returnees

  • Adrian Wooley (8.7 ppg and 3.9 rpg)
  • London Johnson (redshirted)

Roster additions

  • Jackson Shelstad (15.6 ppg and 4.9 apg at Oregon)
  • Flory Bidunga (13.3 ppg and 9.0 rpg at Kansas)
  • De’Shayne Montgomery (13.4 ppg and 4.0 rpg at Dayton)
  • Alvaro Folguerias (8.4 ppg and 3.6 rpg at Iowa)
  • Karter Knox (8.1 ppg and 4.5 rpg at Arkansas)
  • Gabe Dynes (2.9 ppg and 2.3 rpg at USC)

With the exception of Wooley, all of Louisville’s rotation players are gone from last year, forcing a complete roster overhaul via the transfer portal. But Coach Pat Kelsey made arguably the biggest move early on, landing both Shelstad and Bidunga at once in the portal.

The following moves made included landing Folguerias to pair with Bidunga in the frontcourt, while Knox and Montgomery are two more wing scorers. Assuming Wooley takes a leap in what should be a larger role in the rotation, the Cardinals should, once again, have one of the best offenses in all of college basketball next year.
