7. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Likely departures

  • Graham Ike (19.9 ppg and 8.0 rpg)
  • Tyon Grant-Foster (11.1 ppg and 5.0 rpg)
  • Adam Miller (7.3 ppg and 1.6 rpg)
  • Emmanuel Innocenti (6.0 ppg and 3.8 rpg)
  • Braden Smith (5.1 ppg and 3.6 apg)
  • Steele Venters (5.0 ppg and 1.3 rpg)

Likely returnees

  • Braden Huff (17.8 ppg and 5.6 rpg)
  • Mario Saint-Supery (8.6 ppg and 3.8 apg)
  • Davis Fogle (8.6 ppg and 3.1 rpg)

Roster additions

  • Massamba Diop (13.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg at Arizona State)
  • Isaiah Harwell (3.6 ppg and 2.0 rpg at Houston)
  • Jack Kayil (4-star guard prospect)
  • Sam Funches (4-star center prospect)

Losing WCC Player of the Year Ike is certainly a blow, but Gonzaga does have back Huff, who missed the second half of this past year due to a lower leg injury. He’s back, joined by Diop, who had impressive moments as a freshman at ASU, and gives the team an interior presence alongside Huff inside.

The backcourt has plenty of potential, led by the expected sophomore breakout campaigns from Saint-Supery and Fogle, who had large roles in their first years with the program. Harwell is a former five-star prospect who could thrive in a new environment, while Kayil is one of the better international perimeter players coming from overseas into the backcourt.
