6. Arkansas Razorbacks

Likely departures

  • Darius Acuff (23.5 ppg and 6.4 apg)
  • Trevon Brazile (13 ppg and 7.3 rpg)
  • DJ Wagner (7.4 ppg and 2.4 apg)
  • Malique Ewin (9.8 ppg and 5.7 rpg)
  • Karter Knox (8.1 ppg and 4.5 rpg)
  • Nick Pringle (4.6 ppg and 3.9 rpg)

Likely returnees

  • Billy Richmond (11.2 ppg and 4.3 rpg)
  • Meleek Thomas (15.6 ppg and 2.5 apg)

Roster additions

  • Jeremiah Wilkinson (17.4 ppg and 1.7 apg at Georgia)
  • Cooper Bowser (13.8 ppg and 5.9 rpg at Furman)
  • Jordan Smith (5-star guard prospect)
  • Abdou Toure (5-star guard prospect)
  • Miikka Muurinen (5-star forward prospect)

Coming into this past season, it was expected that the five-star freshmen duo would go to the NBA Draft after one year. Acuff, one of the top scorers in college basketball, is gone for sure. However, assuming that Thomas is back for his sophomore campaign, Arkansas will have one of the best lead guards in the country.

Smith is a top-5 incoming freshman in his own right and should have a major impact, while Wilkinson is a proven lead guard in his own right. The recent landing of Muurinen raises the team’s ceiling even more, as he’s been viewed as a top-tier frontcourt prospect for a while, and depth inside has been looking thin for the Razorbacks.
