22. UCLA Bruins

Likely departures

  • Tyler Bilodeau (17.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg)
  • Donovan Dent (13.3 ppg and 7.6 apg)
  • Skyy Clark (11.5 ppg and 2.0 apg)
  • Jamar Brown (3.8 ppg and 2.7 rpg)

Likely returnees

  • Trent Perry (12.6 ppg and 2.8 apg)
  • Eric Dailey (11.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg)
  • Xavier Booker (7.3 ppg and 3.5 rpg)

Roster additions

  • Jaylen Petty (9.9 ppg and 2.2 apg at Texas Tech)
  • Azavier Robinson (6.1 ppg and 2.5 apg at Butler)
  • Filip Jovic (6.3 ppg and 4.0 rpg at Auburn)
  • Sergej Macura (5.0 ppg and 4.8 rpg at Mississippi State)
  • Joe Philon (4-star forward prospect)
  • Javonte Floyd (4-star center prospect)

Coach Mick Cronin has consistently been able to win without a 20 ppg star, and next year’s roster has plenty of depth to win without one. Although Perry has a great chance to be a breakout lead guard, with Dent gone.

Replacing Bilodeau in the frontcourt will be up to Jovic, who showed flashes as a freshman at Auburn and could be another breakout candidate to watch. Outside of Dailey and Booker, it’ll be a younger team in Los Angeles, but their floor should be very high going into next year.
