Clemson Tigers - C+
After a very successful season, finishing with a record of 27-7 and finishing 2nd in the ACC regular season standings, they looked to make a deep run in the tournament. Sadly for the Tigers, they would be one of the very few higher seeds to get upset, losing to McNeese St 67-69 after a valiant comeback effort late in the game. It leaves the question about how their future looks, mostly because they had an older roster with their starting lineup averaging 4.2 years played.
While they haven't been terrible in the transfer portal so far, they haven't been great. So far they have lost 8 players to the portal and they are bringing in 6 commits, their transfer class highlighted by RJ Godfrey, a 6-8 Forward from Georgia and Nick Davidson, a 6-10 Center from Nevada.
Clemson's recruiting class is nothing to special but they have a couple of solid pieces coming in, highlighted by 4-star recruit Zac Foster, a 6-3 Guard from Atlanta. Overall it's been a solid offseason, but with losing a majority of your scoring from last season it's tough to give it a very high grade.
