Florida State Seminoles - C

Florida St going into last season didn't have many expectations even with being one of the tallest teams in the country. They ended up going 17-15 and losing in the first round of the ACC tournament to Syracuse. The worst news the Seminoles received this year was that long-time legendary coach Leonard Hamilton would be stepping down after the season concluded. Once the offseason hit, they were able to land their new coach, Luke Loucks, who was a former player for the Seminoles, playing from 2008-2012.

Outside of the coaching change, it's been a relatively uneventful offseason for FSU, picking up just 2 high school commits and getting seven transfer commits. The major downside to this offseason is that they lost 10 players to the portal, and their star player, Jamir Watkins, left for the NBA Draft. The Seminoles were able to pick up some solid players from the portal in Chauncey Wiggins, a 6-10 Forward from Clemson, Kobe Magee, a 6-6 Guard from Drexel, Lajae Jones, a 6-7 Forward from St. Bonaventure, Martin Somerville, a 6-1 Guard from UML, and Robert McCray V, a 6-3 Guard from Jacksonville.

The Seminoles are bringing in a very disappointing high school class, only getting two commits: Cam Miles, a 6-2 Guard from Florida, and Thomas Bassong, a 6-8 Forward from Georgia. After all the roster changes, you could more than likely expect a pretty similar season to last season for the Seminoles unless the new coach exceeds all expectations.
