Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - C+

Damon Stoudamire and the Yellow Jackets came into last season with expectations of improvement, While they did improve it was marginal, going from 14-18 to 17-17. As Georgia Tech fans get more impatient after each throwaway season Stoudamire needs to act quick or his job will be in jeopardy.

This offseason, they have so far picked up four transfer commits and five high school commits. With only losing 5 players lost to the portal, and with the news that Baye Ndongo would be returning, the roster retention is going to be solid. The losses of Duncan Powell and Naithan George definitely hurt, but with the commits they are bringing in, there is some hope they fill their roles. So far in the portal the'yve been able to pick up four solid players in Lamar Washington, a 6-4 Guard from Pacific, Peyton Marshall, a 7-0 Center from Missouri, Chas Kelly, a 6-3 Guard from Boston College, and Kam Craft, a 6-6 Guard from Miami-OH.

In the high school class they have picked up 2 4-stars and 3 3-stars, those players being Mouhamed Sylla, a 6-10 Center who is also the 17th ranked player in the country according to 247 sports, Akai Fleming, a 6-4 Guard from Georgia, Eric Chatfield, a 5-11 Guard from Georgia, Brandon Stores, a 6-5 Forward from New York, and Cole Kirouac, a 6-11 Center From Georgia.

Overall is been a very solid offseason for the Yellow Jackets and they should finish next season, at the very worst, around were they finished last year, and hopefully for Yellow Jackets fans they exceed expectations.
