Miami Hurricanes - A-

The Hurricanes had a disastrous season in 23-24, and they looked to turn it around with a solid offseason, but sadly, it was just as bad, finishing last season with a 7-24 record. It was announced mid season that long time coach Jim Larranaga will be retiring, leaving for a lot of questions to be had about the Hurricanes future. The Hurricanes then pulled off one of the better coaching hires getting Jai Lucas, who was an assistant coach at Duke for 3 seasons.

This offseason the Hurricanes lost a lot of players to either the transfer portal or graduation, but you could argue that is for the better after two very rough seasons. Lucas has done a great job so far in the portal, picking up six commits, including the likes of Tre Donaldson from Michigan and Malik Reneau from Indiana. Lucas has also built a solid recruiting class getting former Duke commit Shelton Henderson to flip his commitment from the Blue Devils to the Hurricanes while also adding on some other solid pieces for next season.

Lucas is looking to flip the script this upcoming season and hopefully get the Hurricanes back where they would like to be after 2 very disappointing seasons.
