Ole Miss Rebels - B+

Ole Miss this past season was a good team, they finished the season with a record of 24-12, made the NCAA tournament as a 6 seed, and made it to the Sweet 16. Their season would come to an end in the Sweet 16 losing to Michigan St 73-70.

As of now Ole Miss has 11 total commits this offseason, 7 from the transfer portal and 4 high school/international commits. Head coach Chris Beard did a good job in the transfer portal just getting good basketball players. The players he got include the likes of James Scott from Louisville, Travis Perry from Kentucky, Augusto Cassia from Butler, AJ Storr from Kansas, Koren Johnson from Louisville, Corey Chest from LSU, and Kezza Giffa from High Point. Beard did a good job getting all kinds of player archetypes in the portal, ranging from good shooting guards to strong big men.

In the high school/international scene, Beard got 4 commits,3 of them being 4-stars and 1 of them coming from overseas. The overseas guy is a 6-4 guard from France, Ilias Kamardine. This past season, i just under 20 minutes a game. Kamardine averaged 8.7 points while shooting 38.3 percent from 3. The 3 4-star coach Beard included a 6-10 forward from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Niko Bundalo, who is ranked 40th in the class per 247 sports, a 6-9 forward from Marietta, Georgia, Tylis Jordan, and a 6-5 forward from Wolfforth, Texas, Patton Pinkins.

With the news of Malik Dia returning to the Rebels this upcoming season, this has been a pretty strong offseason for Ole Miss. While losing a good chunk of scoring hurts, Coach Beard did a good job rebuilding their roster to contend next season. Ole Miss will likely be competing in the SEC once again this upcoming season.
