The second half of last season was supposed to give Florida State some momentum heading into the offseason. But the biggest pickup from the transfer portal looks to be Ranick, a double-digit scorer from a bad Colorado squad.
Robinson is an SEC starter, and Abaev is a former five-star prospect who could break out at his new spot. There’s a lot of pressure on Taylor’s scoring to translate from the Big South, with shooting being a clear concern on the roster.
Ultimately, keeping the top-15 incoming recruiting class seems to be the long-term goal that can get Florida State back into ACC relevancy. But there could be more growing pains with the young roster next year.
