Five double-digit scorers left the Cowboys this offseason, including multiple via the transfer portal. But they do keep Clary, who can be a lead guard candidate. Bogavac and Burks are quality wings, while Natt, Halaifonua, and Grbovic give them frontcourt depth.
Felesi, a top-50 prospect who de-committed from Pittsburgh this offseason, was another key boost to the roster. The concern is that there’s depth; this could be another scenario where the lack of high-end talent limits their ceiling for making the NCAA Tournament.
Still, for a program that doesn’t have a ton of resources on the basketball side of things, it’s been an impressive collection of talent for them. Coach Steve Lutz has a good group to work with once again.
