● Martin Somerville (8.0 ppg and 2.4 apg at Florida State)

● Seydou Traore (9.0 ppg and 3.4 rpg at Utah)
● Mouhamed Sylla (9.6 ppg and 7.2 rpg at Georgia Tech)
● Miles Sadler (5-star guard prospect)

With so many of last season’s rotation pieces being seniors, West Virginia was always going to have a complete roster rebuild. But they did as well as possible, landing All-Big East guard Bizjack. Pairing him with five-star incoming prospect Sadler should give them one of the top backcourts in the Big 12.

The frontcourt also looks solid, with Sylla showing flashes when healthy at Georgia Tech. Traore is a solid rotation piece coming from Utah, while Buchanan is a capable scoring threat to watch.

The Mountaineers have the star power, depth, and balance to be an underrated team in the conference next year. It wouldn’t be a surprise if they place in the top-6, especially if Sadler is a legit freshman star.
