The offseason for the Rebels started off well, with Kamardine getting granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA. He and Pinkins are arguably the best options that Ole Miss wouldn’t want to come back, with the others leaving not a major deal.
That being said, is the portal class good enough? Clark is a do-it-all guard from Seton Hall who can run the offense and will help upgrade the defense. Guys like Siulepa, Trouet, and Brown add needed frontcourt depth, with Haskins as another capable scorer on the perimeter.
Is there an all-league player on the roster? That’s difficult to answer positively for the Rebels. Coach Chris Beard can be given the benefit of the doubt that they won’t have two straight bad years, but the lack of true star power could overcome what should be one of the deepest rosters in the SEC next year.
