● Rylan Griffen (11.2 ppg and 2.5 apg)
● Marcus Hill (10.3 ppg and 3.1 rpg)
● Ruben Dominguez (10.2 ppg and 2.3 rpg)
● Pop Isaacs (9.8 ppg and 2.6 apg)

● Jamie Vinson (3.5 ppg and 2.3 rpg)

Roster additions

● PJ Haggerty (23.4 ppg and 3.8 apg at Kansas State)
● Tyshawn Archie (14.3 ppg and 2.9 apg at McNeese State)
● Jalen Reece (5.8 ppg and 3.6 apg at LSU)
● Jalen Shelley (13.7 ppg and 6.6 rpg at LMU)
● Cade Phillips (3.8 ppg and 4.0 rpg at Tennessee)
● Lukas Walls (7.9 ppg and 2.5 rpg at Radford)
● Bryson Warren (Former G-League guard)
● Josh Irving (4-star center prospect)

The Aggies did lose a couple of pieces to the portal this offseason, with the sharpshooting Dominguez being the biggest loss. But they added arguably the best pure scorer from the portal of any SEC team in Haggerty, who has put up 20+ points at three different D-I teams to this point.

Haggerty is set up to be the lead guard. While Mgbako returns from injury after playing just seven games. Archie and Shelley add perimeter shooting depth, with Warren another G Leaguer to keep an eye on.

The frontcourt depth could be the biggest question, as Phillips will be tasked with providing interior defense. But after taking a roster that many didn’t like a year ago to the NCAA Tournament, Coach Bucky McMillian deserves more than the benefit of the doubt that he can make this group good enough to contend.
