8. Brown Bears (7-11, 1-4)

Outside of Yale holding the top spot, the one constant in the Ivy League has been Brown sitting at the bottom of the rankings. The Bears own one conference win, a home victory over Columbia, but have since dropped back-to-back games to Cornell and Princeton. That skid has them with five losses in their last seven outings. Brown is averaging 71.5 points per game while allowing 67.4. The Bears return home this weekend to host Harvard on Friday and Dartmouth on Saturday.

7. Cornell Big Red (9-9, 2-3)

Cornell sits at .500 overall and in conference play, but momentum is beginning to build. After a strong five-game winning streak earlier in the season, the Big Red hit a midseason lull before rebounding with road wins at Brown and Harvard. Cornell now returns home for games against Princeton and Penn, with their next road trip not coming until February 7 at Columbia.

6. Penn Quakers (9-9, 2-3)

Penn has been up and down through the heart of the schedule and currently finds itself back at .500. The Quakers are coming off consecutive losses after picking up wins over Brown and Dartmouth. Offensive consistency has been an issue, as Penn scored just 63 points against Harvard and 60 against Yale. Ethan Roberts continues to lead the way at 19.5 points per game. Penn travels to Columbia on Friday and Cornell on Saturday.

5. Dartmouth Big Green (9-9, 3-2)

Dartmouth remains one of three teams tied at 3-2 in conference play. The Big Green opened league action with road wins at Harvard and Cornell before stumbling at home against Penn and Columbia. Kareem Thomas leads the team at 17.9 points per game. Dartmouth faces a tough road swing this weekend with trips to Yale on Friday and Brown on Saturday.

4. Princeton Tigers (7-13, 3-2)

After a rough nonconference start, Princeton has steadied itself in league play. The Tigers have won four of their last six games, including a recent victory over Brown. Dalen Davis led the way in that win, while Jackson Hicke continues to anchor the offense at 15.4 points per game. Princeton heads out on the road to face Cornell on Friday and Columbia on Saturday.

3. Columbia Lions (13-6, 2-3)

Columbia remains one of the league’s more intriguing teams despite sitting below .500 in conference play. The Lions snapped a three-game losing streak with a road win at Dartmouth and continue to post strong numbers on the glass, averaging over 41 rebounds per game. Kenny Noland leads the offense at better than 17 points per contest. Columbia hosts Penn on Friday before welcoming Princeton on Saturday.

2. Harvard Crimson (10-9, 3-2)

Harvard checks in at second after an uneven stretch that included a three-game winning streak followed by a home loss to Cornell. Robert Hinton leads the Crimson at 16.5 points per game, with Chandler Pigge providing secondary scoring and playmaking. Offensive production has been an issue, as Harvard ranks near the bottom nationally in scoring. The Crimson travel to Brown on Friday before visiting Yale on Saturday.

1. Yale Bulldogs (15-3, 4-1)

Yale remains the standard in the Ivy League and currently holds a one-game lead atop the standings. James Jones has his team playing at a high level, with wins in three straight games following a blowout victory at Penn. Yale’s only losses this season have come against Rhode Island, Alabama, and Princeton. Nick Townsend leads the Bulldogs at 17 points per game. Yale returns home to host Dartmouth on Friday and Harvard on Saturday.

The Ivy League race remains wide open behind Yale, with multiple teams still capable of making a push as February approaches. Competitive games and meaningful results continue to define one of college basketball’s most entertaining conferences.
