You've got to be kidding. That's no question what countless Duke basketball fans had on their minds after the Blue Devils suffered a heartbreaking loss to Houston and Kelvin Sampson on Saturday night. In the second half, Duke was at one point up 14 points.
With a little over 30 seconds left, the scoreboard read 67-61 in favor of the ACC powerhouse. However, brutal mistakes down the stretch cost this team and Cooper Flagg a shot at playing for the national title.
We can talk about the questionable foul call on Flagg until the sun goes out, but Houston made the necessary plays late to pull off one of the most thrilling comebacks in Final Four history. Jay Williams was all of us shortly after the final whistle. His reaction to the Duke loss is shared by so many people:
I’m sick right now….

Jay Williams was 'sick' after Duke blew it late against Houston in the Final Four
You were sick? You're not the only one, Jay. The Blue Devils had no business losing this game. Duke had one foot in the door for Monday's title game on Monday night against Florida, which took down Auburn in the other national semifinal.
Houston found a way to keep chipping away at its double-digit deficit and then they were able to create some unreal magic in the final minute. The turnover on the in-bounds play is something people are going to play over countless times in their head in addition to the terrible foul call on Flagg.
This was a contest in which Duke comes out on top nine times out of 10. It felt like the magical season was going to end with the trophy, but instead people now have to deal with North Carolina and Kentucky fans trolling Duke for another devastating result in the Final Four.
Flagg was wiping away tears from his face while speaking with reporters, which only made things worse. He had a chance to win it, but his jumper was short. It's now going to be a long offseason for Jon Scheyer and Co., which will include seeing Flagg head off to the NBA.
