In his second-year as the head basketball coach, Mark Pope should have more stability on Kentucky basketball's roster regarding the transfer portal additions made in the 2025 offseason this spring.
Pope and the Wildcats don't need to sign nearly a double-digit number of transfers from the spring portal this offseason to build out a competitive roster in the SEC going into the 2025-26 campaign. It also helps that Kentucky didn't lose as many key contributors in the core part of the rotation to the spring transfer portal window early this offseason for 2025.
Kerr Kriisa, G
Super senior guard Kerr Kriisa has entered the transfer portal for the third time in as many offseasons this spring. Kriisa was brought in from the spring transfer portal last offseason to give Kentucky solid and experienced guard depth in the backcourt for the 2024-25 campaign.
After playing nine games for the Wildcats this past season, Kriisa suffered a season-ending lower-body injury against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He has one year of eligibility remaining after getting an injury redshirt for the season-ending foot injury.

Travis Perry, G
It was a bit surprising to see freshman guard and former highly touted four-star recruit from Eddyville, KY, Travis Perry entering the spring transfer portal window early this offseason. Perry, the all-time leading scorer in Kentucky high school basketball, had a couple of meaningful starts for the Wildcats this past season in the SEC against Alabama, scoring in double figures in two games including in the SEC Tournament quarters.
He scored a season-high 12 points in Kentucky's loss to Alabama in late February this past season.

Walker Horn, SG
Junior guard from Austin (TX) Westlake High School, Walker Horn, played over a dozen games for the Wildcats in the past three seasons in the SEC. Horn registered an assist and a rebound for the Wildcats in a win over South Carolina State during his true freshman campaign in the 2022-23 season.
Horn is the son of Northern Kentucky head coach Darrin Horn.
Grant Darbyshire, G
Like Horn, junior guard Grant Darbyshire joined the Kentucky hoops program as a preferred walk-on for the 2022-23 season. After a lower-body injury (per 247Sports) caused Darbyshire to redshirt in his true freshman campaign in the 2022-23 season, he appeared in a half dozen games for Kentucky in the next couple of seasons in the SEC.
Darbyshire attended Cincinnati (OH) Sycamore High School. He appeared in two games for the Wildcats this past season, including late in the game on Senior Night against LSU.
