Kansas State (13-11) (NET: 69)
4-5 (Q1), 2-4 (Q2), 3-2 (Q3), 4-0 (Q4)

Just a few weeks ago, including Kansas State on a list like this would’ve been laughable, but the Wildcats have done wonders for themselves on this current winning streak. Kansas State sat 7-11 with a dire conference record, but have really turned things around.

Each of their last four games have all been Quad 1 victories, including major upsets at Iowa State and against Kansas and Arizona. The Wildcats were trending in a terrible direction with a losing streak in January but have really flicked a switch, building a resume that wasn’t helped by a weak nonconference performance.

They lost at home to LSU in the early weeks of the season, while their other Quad 3 loss was also at home against Oklahoma State. This team is clearly playing better than then, but there’s also a plethora of close losses bringing them down, including one-possession games against Liberty, Drake, and TCU.

Nobody has Kansas State in the current field, but if they keep up their current pace they’ll certainly find their way into the dance. There are four more Quad 1 opportunities, including another important one at BYU this weekend. Realistically, Kansas State has to keep extending this win streak for as long as possible.
