37. OKC Thunder (via Dallas) - Richie Saunders
- 2025-26 stats (BYU): 18 ppg and 5.8 rpg
Saunders has the size at 6’5 and the shooting (40% 3PT over the last two years) to be a draft pick, and is a capable overall scorer with the ball. OKC’s offensive weakness at times can be three-point shooting, and they could lose a couple of rotation guards due to the cap. Saunders would get a ton of looks with the Thunder on offense.
38. Chicago Bulls (via New Orleans) - Lamar Wilkerson
- 2025-26 stats (Indiana): 20.9 ppg and 3.5 rpg
With the frontcourt being the focus of the first round, the Bulls could use a shooting guard to replace Coby White. Wilkerson, one of the best pure scorers in college basketball the last few years, makes sense. He’s an all-ball shooter with solid size at 6’4 who can carve out a role on the rebuilding Bulls roster.
39. Houston Rockets (via Chicago) - Braden Smith
- 2025-26 stats (Purdue): 14.3 ppg and 8.8 apg
Yes, the return of starting point guard Fred VanVleet will be massive for the Rockets and huge for the franchise next year. But they will still be looking for more ball-handling depth, which would allow Reed Sheppard to play more off the ball. Smith, the NCAA all-time leader in assists, may not have the athletic ceiling of other guards, but his natural playmaking ability should be able to translate to the next level.
40. Boston Celtics (via Milwaukee) - Kylan Boswell
- 2025-26 stats (Illinois): 12.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.0 apg
Guard depth is another area where the Celtics could improve, as Derek White is coming off a down year by his standards. Boswell is the kind of player with a similar game to his, a capable two-way guard who can play on and off the ball, as he showed at Illinois alongside multiple first-round NBA Draft picks.
