5. Los Angeles Clippers (via Indiana) - Keaton Wagler
2025-26 stats (Illinois): 17.9 ppg, 5.1 rpg, and 4.2 apg
The former three-star prospect could climb all the way to being a top-5 pick in a loaded draft. He’s a quality ball-handler with the size to play off-ball as well, along with the ability to shoot the ball at a high clip. After moving on from James Harden, Wagler would be a good backcourt partner with the smaller Darius Garland for the future.
6. Brooklyn Nets - Darius Acuff
2025-26 stats (Arkansas): 23.5 ppg and 6.4 apg
Overthinking FC zagging on Darius Acuff is going to look so ridiculously dumb in 6 months pic.twitter.com/MfBsfnURQn

Other than veteran Michael Porter Jr., the Nets don’t have any other legit long-term scoring options on the roster. Acuff, who was arguably the best pure scorer in college basketball in the last two months of the season, has the chance to be a focal point out of the gate for the franchise, a team that lacks production in the midst of its rebuild.
7. Sacramento Kings - Mikel Brown
2025-26 stats (Louisville): 18.2 ppg and 4.7 apg
Despite dealing with injuries, Brown was just as good as any freshman guard in college, including a 45-point performance against NC State. One team that can use a prolific lead guard is the Kings, who haven’t replaced DeAaron Fox since trading him to the Spurs.
8. Atlanta Hawks (via New Orleans) - Kingston Flemings
2025-26 stats (Houston): 16.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 5.2 apg
While Jalen Johnson has emerged as the lead playmaker for the franchise, the Hawks still need to find a true point guard for the future, once they move on from CJ McCollum. Flemings has one of the highest floors as a playmaker in the draft, capable of shooting the ball. And at 6’4, he has the size for the Hawks' defense to be really good in the future.
