25. Los Angeles Lakers - Chris Cenac

2025-26 stats (Houston): 9.5 ppg and 7.9 rpg

With the status of LeBron James pending free agency, the wing position could turn into a big need for the Lakers. However, with DeAndre Ayton likely not a long-term starting center for the franchise, Cenac showed real potential at Houston down the stretch as an athletic big man who provides interior defense and should work well with Luka Doncic.

26. Denver Nuggets - Bennett Stirtz

2025-26 stats (Iowa): 19.8 ppg and 4.4 apg

Jamal Murray is one of the best guards in the NBA, but the lack of ball-handlers, even with MVP Nikola Jokić on the roster, has been an issue for the Nuggets. Stirtz, who has been one of the best playmakers in college basketball, would be a great backup guard for Murray, who can run Denver’s offense.

27. Boston Celtics - Morez Johnson

2025-26 stats (Michigan): 13.1 ppg and 7.3 rpg

Yes, Johnson’s lack of shooting doesn’t fit well with the three-point-happy Celtics scheme. However, his defense and rebounding are a perfect fit for a team that lacks physicality, especially against the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

28. Minnesota Timberwolves (via Detroit) - Isaiah Evans

2025-26 stats (Duke): 15 ppg and 3.2 rpg

Evans is one of the best pure scorers in the NBA Draft and a quality shooter who can create his own shot at any time. Going to a Minnesota roster that could use some more offense would work, with Evans able to play off of Edwards on the wings and even allow Jaden McDaniels to play at the four-spot in various lineups.
