Cooper Flagg will be National Freshman of the Year

This is another one that isn’t that far-fetched. Flagg has been on the national radar for a while and was the top recruit in the country. The Duke star freshman is extremely athletic and can score from all over the floor and in various ways. Blue Devils fans saw firsthand how special their star would be in the win over Maine when he had a highlight-level dunk. Flagg will be a one-and-done, an AP All-American, and has an outside shot at the National Player of the Year. Flagg is far and away the best freshman in the country.

Big 12 is the deepest conference in the country

It is up for debate as to which conference will be the deepest in the country. There will always be the people who clamor for the Big Ten, the SEC, and the Big East. The Big 12 though has six teams who would not surprise me to make the Final Four. Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Iowa State, Cincinnati and Baylor. The Big 12 is deep, and any one of the teams mentioned is Final Four good, and they can all beat each other. The champion will come out of this league this year. How is that for a hot take?
