4. Alabama (14-2)

Boasting one of the best offenses in the nation, Alabama has been doing some serious work this season, with their only losses coming at Purdue and in Las Vegas against a strong Oregon team. They stockpiled some nice wins in nonconference play and this week ensured that they were getting SEC play off to a fast start.

There was nothing but good things at South Carolina as the Crimson Tide picked up an 88-68 road win over the Gamecocks. Mark Sears dropped 22 points on another great offensive showing for this team. Alabama kept winning away from Tuscaloosa, hanging on for a clutch 94-88 win at Texas A&M to finish the weekend. Once again Sears was magnificent with 27 points while Aden Holloway added 15 points off the bench.

Looking at the analytics, Alabama’s offense has been on an insane roll, averaging nearly 100 points since conference play began. Now 3-0 in the SEC, the Crimson Tide are firing on all cylinders on offense and you just have to wonder how far this team can go coming off last season’s Final Four. As if their schedule hasn’t been difficult enough, this team heads to Lexington next weekend after a home date against Ole Miss; there are no easy nights in the SEC.
