Swain followed Coach Sean Miller over from Xavier and had his breakthrough year, leading Texas in all three main categories. He’s staying in the NBA Draft as a projected first-round pick, with the team needing several additions to try to replace his impact.
The good news is that leading big man Vokietatis returns, joined by Punch, who led TCU in both scoring and rebounding last season. Johnson led Colorado in scoring as a freshman, while Evans is a standout defender who has more potential as a scorer, coming over from Tennessee. There’s plenty of offense on this roster, even without assuming the impact top-30 guard/wing Goosby has as a freshman.
