2025-26 record: 27-8 (16-2 SEC)

Roster departures

  • Xaivian Lee (11.6 ppg and 4.2 apg)

Returnees

  • Boogie Fland (11.6 ppg and 3.5 apg)
  • Urban Klavzar (9.6 ppg and 1.3 apg)
  • Reuben Chinyelu (10.9 ppg and 11.2 rpg)
  • Isaiah Brown (5.5 ppg and 2.5 rpg)
  • Thomas Haugh (17.1 ppg and 6.1 rpg)
  • Alex Condon (15.1 ppg and 7.5 rpg)
  • CJ Ingram (2.2 ppg and 0.9 rpg)

Roster additions

  • Denzel Aberdeen (13.5 ppg and 3.4 apg at Florida, still needs a waiver)

There’s no bigger team winner from the NBA Draft decisions than Florida, which had three players with first-round potential all electing to come back. That includes National Defensive Player of the Year (Chinyelu), along with Haugh and Condon, two of the better offensive frontcourt players in the country.

Including Fland, that’s four starters back from a team that earned a 1 seed in the last NCAA Tournament. The key is Aberdeen, who was the 6th Man for the Gators two years ago when they won a national title. But he’s technically not cleared and needs a waiver from the NCAA to play next year. But even if that doesn’t happen, Klavzar, the reigning SEC 6th Man of the Year, could easily fill in to take his spot.
