The most important NBA Draft decision came when Tanner elected to return to Vandy. That was the difference between the team being ranked in the top-25 and not even receiving votes, despite having a solid portal haul to surround him. Now, Glass, one of the top leading freshmen scorers in the nation, won’t be tasked with being the focal point of the offense.
Even without Okereke, who reportedly stopped trying for an extra year of eligibility, the frontcourt has good depth. Williams-Adams is a breakout candidate as a sophomore, while Dak and Buyuktuncel give them good depth. Ethan Mgbako, the brother of Texas A&M wing Mackenzie Mgbako, has a chance to have a role on the wings in his first year.
