17. TCU Horned Frogs

Likely departures

  • Jayden Pierre (10.1 ppg and 2.8 apg)
  • Jace Posey (4.6 ppg and 2.3 rpg)

Likely returnees

  • David Punch (14.1 ppg and 6.8 rpg)
  • Xavier Edmonds (12.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg)
  • Micah Robinson (10.9 ppg and 4.7 rpg)
  • Brock Harding (8.0 ppg and 5.6 apg)
  • Liutaras Lelevicius (8.0 ppg and 3.4 rpg)
  • Tanner Toolson (7.7 ppg and 3.2 rpg)

It was a season of ups and downs for the Frogs, including a Quad 4 loss to New Orleans and several heartbreaking defeats. But they made the NCAA Tournament and have a real chance at being better next year, thanks to returning so much production. Only Pierre is the key piece with no eligibility, and no one else besides Posey has hinted at going to the portal.

In fact, two starters, Edmonds and Harding, have already announced their intentions to return. Punch, who leads the team in scoring and rebounding, is coming off a breakout year and would be one of the best players in the Big 12 if he were to return.

TCU also recently got the commitment of Trent Lincoln, a 6’3 point guard and ranked as the No. 1 overall JUCO player in his class. Based on how well it worked out with Edmonds, the Frogs may have gotten another gem to work with for next year.
