4. Arizona Wildcats

Likely departures

  • Brayden Burries (16.1 ppg and 4.9 rpg)
  • Koa Peat (14.1 ppg and 5.6 rpg)
  • Jaden Bradley (13.3 ppg and 4.4 apg)
  • Anthony Dell’Orso (8.5 ppg and 1.8 apg)

Likely returnees

  • Mojiejus Krivas (10.4 ppg and 8.2 rpg)
  • Ivan Kharchenkov (10.4 ppg and 4.3 rpg)
  • Tobe Awaka (9.3 ppg and 9.1 rpg)
  • Dwanye Aristode (3.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg)

That’s a lot of production Arizona is set to lose, including the projected lottery pick freshmen duo of Peat and Burries. But losing Bradley, the Big 12 Player of the Year and one of the best point guards in the nation, will be very tough to replace.

The good news is that there’s also plenty of depth coming back. Krivas and Awaka will be one of the best frontcourts again, while Kharchenkov is a legit breakout candidate. The team also has a top-5 incoming guard prospect, Caleb Holt, joining the team, along with a top-30 incoming wing, Cameron Holmes.

But the biggest win for the program is the news that head coach Tommy Lloyd has confirmed he’s staying with Arizona Basketball for the foreseeable future, despite reported interest from North Carolina. That’s the biggest reason why the Wildcats have high hopes again for next season.
