  • Tarris Reed (14.8 ppg a nd 8.8 rpg)
  • Malachi Smith (3.5 ppg and 2.9 apg)

Likely returnees

  • Eric Reibe (6.1 ppg and 3.4 rpg)

  • Jaylin Stewart (4.3 ppg and 2.6 rpg)

Key decisions to watch

  • Braylon Mullins (12.0 ppg and 3.4 rpg)

After just barely coming up short in the national title game, UConn still has a great chance to get back to the Final Four, potentially bringing back its starting backcourt trio for another year. Mullins could sneak into the lottery if things go right, but after shooting 4/17 against Michigan in the title game as his last game, maybe he opts to return as a sophomore.

UConn also has two top-40 perimeter prospects joining the program in Colben Landrew and Junior County, in case there’s any other need for backcourt depth. Ultimately, the frontcourt will be the question, as both Karaban and Reed need to be replaced. We’ll see if former top-50 prospect Reibe can be the next breakout star for them inside next year.
