20. UCLA Bruins

Likely departures

  • Tyler Bilodeau (17.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg)
  • Donovan Dent (13.3 ppg and 7.6 apg)
  • Skyy Clark (11.5 ppg and 2.0 apg)

Likely returnees

  • Trent Perry (12.6 ppg and 2.8 apg)
  • Eric Dailey (11.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg)
  • Xavier Booker (7.3 ppg and 3.5 rpg)

Losing Bilodeau at the end of the season hurt the chances for the Bruins to make a deep run this past March. Losing both he and Dent, who did a ton for them on offense, are tough blows, especially assuming Clark doesn’t get a waiver for an extra year.

But Coach Cronin deserves the benefit of the doubt and has three starters set to return. Booker had some moments in his first year with the program and could break out next season. Dailey is one of the more underrated players in the country with everything he can do on both ends, while Perry is a national breakout guy to watch as he’ll have the keys to the offense after playing mostly off-ball next to Dent.

UCLA also has a four-star prospect joining the team, with top-100 forward prospect Joe Philon recently committing.
