NCAA Basketball: Picks for Day 26 of the 2024-25 season
By Bryan Mauro
Hopefully you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and were able to get some time to recharge your batteries with some Turkey and good friends and family. On the basketball court, Louisville beat West Virginia to go to the Battle 4 Atlantis title game. They will face Oklahoma, who beat Arizona. Gonzaga bounced back with a huge win over Indiana. Saint Mary’s destroyed USC, Mississippi State beat UNLV, Florida beat Wake Forest, Ole Miss beat BYU, Purdue beat NC State, and Illinois beat Arkansas. The Big East finally got a big win as Butler beat Northwestern. Wichita State beat Minnesota. The Gophers have struggled all year to score points and beat teams that they are favored to beat.
Yesterday, I went 15-5 in my picks. That brings my 25-day total to 841-269 overall. The Arizona Tip-Off, Rady’s Children’s Invitational, ESPN Events Invitational, Battle 4 Atlantis, Western Slam, Acrisure Invitational, and the Acrisure Classic all resume today. The Baha Mar Nassau Championship and the Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic begin today. Picks for day 26, November 28, 2024, are below.

It is the second to last week of College Football, and then the rest of the Saturdays will be consumed by college basketball. Two games are not included in my picks because they were late games and I was not able to include them in the picks. Northwestern and UNLV have the potential to be a good game and also have the potential for a loss for the Big Ten. Northwestern has not looked great so far this year and UNLV is a very capable team if they are defending and making shots. They do have the talent to hang with the Wildcats. Purdue and Ole Miss are for the Championship of the Rady’s Children Invitational, and it is a game between two ranked teams who are going to win a lot of games. Enjoy the hoops.
