After a stellar Black Friday of hoops that saw a lot champions crowned in Feast Week tournaments, the sport begins to go back to normal today but there are still two very big games.

It was an eventful Black Friday in the world of college hoops and some tournament champions were crowned. Purdue won the Rady’s Children’s Classic, Oklahoma was the surprise winner of the Battle 4 Atlantis, and Washington won the Acrisure Invitational. Arizona State beat Saint Mary’s to win the Acrisure Classic, and Florida won the ESPN Events Invitational. Utah State won the NIT Season Tip-Off. Finally, Butler won the Arizona Tip-Off. In other news, DePaul moved to 7-0 under Chris Holtmann.

Yesterday, I went 36-14 in my picks. That brings my 26-day total to 877-283 overall. The Players Era Festival continues. Outside of that, the sport is starting to get back to normal. The last day of Feast Week has some great games, especially at the Players Era Festival. Outside of that, there are a lot of mid-majors in action. Picks for day 27, November 29, 2024, are below.

There are two games tomorrow that I will have to watch because they will be excellent, and both will be excellent in different ways. Houston and San Diego State are going to have a low-scoring defensive battle that will have quality basketball. The Cougars are in desperate need of a win against a tournament team. I believe San Diego State will be that. The second game is Alabama and Oregon. The Ducks are surprisingly undefeated, and Alabama is a team that many have pegged for a national title. The Ducks and Tide can fill it up, and that game will be fun to watch. Enjoy the hoops.
