There was not much that happened last night in the world of College Basketball. There were no upsets as expected. There was one team that avoided a big upset. Colorado got a huge scare put into them by Pacific but ended up going on a huge run midway through the second half to finally pull away for good. Nevada needed to beat Washington State, but they struggled to score all night long and eventually lost. That could be a good win for Wazzu and will ultimately be a huge missed opportunity for Nevada.

I went 8-4 in my picks yesterday. That brings my 29-day total to 939-322 overall. I have mentioned several times yesterday was the calm before the storm, and today, the action picks up in a big way. The Big 12-Big East Battle starts today, the SEC/ACC Challenge begins today, the SoCon/ASun Challenge starts, and finally, conference play in the Big Ten and Missouri Valley starts today as well. It’s a big day with a lot of quality games on the schedule. Picks for Day 30, December 3, 2024, are below.

Which games to choose from tonight? That will be the question. Everyone loves conference play so you could go with Iowa and Northwestern, Michigan and Wisconsin, and then follow that up with Washington and UCLA. The Big Ten looks like it will be extremely competitive this year, and today begins the 20-game schedule for the teams in that league. None of the teams in action today will take a bad loss, and they can only improve their resumes.

Lipscomb and Chattanooga will be a great mid-major game with a lot of scoring, and Lipscomb has a player who can go for 30 every night. Louisville and Ole Miss, Kentucky and Clemson, and Cincinnati and Villanova all have the potential for an upset to happen. Tonight is going to be a great night. Enjoy the hoops.
