A rash of NCAA Basketball prospects from down south update their respective recruitments. The latest is Jalen Reece, a consensus four-star prospect who is ranked in the top 100. He's a 6'0 "ball-handler from Orlando who is a legit athlete and overall playmaker, both as a passer and pure scorer.

In the past, Reece had teams such as Penn State and Dayton in the mix but they're officially out, with the final list down to three teams. Ahead of a decision on Wednesday, which of them is the best potential fit?

Here's a closer look below.

Cincinnati Bearcats

Cincy is a team that could be losing both of its key ball-handlers after this season. Day Day Thomas is a senior, while sophomore Jizzle James has been seen on NBA Draft boards. The team did recently land four-star guard commit Keyshaun Tillery and already have freshman ball-handler JJ Rembert so there could be a logjam for Reece to deal with.

LSU Tigers

Two of LSU's rotation guards (Cam Carter and Jordan Sears) are seniors who'll be gone after this season. They do have freshman guard Curtis Givens and a commitment from four-star guard Mazi Mosley, whom Reece said he's close with. Once the senior core is gone, there could be room for both Reece and Mosley to get minutes.

Providence Friars

The Friars have two commits in the 2025 class, off-guard Jaylen Harrell and wing Jamier Jones, and they are now looking at another key at point guard. Transfer Bensley Joseph has just one year left, so there's a need for someone like Reece to come in and have an impact.

On paper, Providence stands out as the team that can offer Reece minutes out the gate. But LSU does allow him to stay close to home. We'll see soon where the point guard ultimately lands.
