Another top-100 prospect is close to making a decision, as Kelvin Odih is set to announce on Wednesday. He's a 6'5 wing out of California who played prior ball in Connecticut. He's one of the better defenders in the 2025 NCAA Basketball recruiting class with the size and athletic versatility to be impactful at the college level.

Odih, a consensus 4-star and top-100 prospect, originally had six teams in consideration. However, Colorado, Creighton, and OK State were cut to make it the final three. Which of them is the best potential fit for him? Here's a closer look from a roster perspective.

Louisville Cardinals

With just about the entire roster being seniors, Louisville has been going after as many class of 2025 players as well, including wings. The one interesting point here is the that lone underclassmen on the roster is Khani Rooths, a 6'8 combo forward. There's a way to get both he and Odih on the court together to make this a more appealing option but if they also land transfers next offseason, minutes could be a potential issue at Louisville early on.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Coach Steve Pikiell has been building on the program's historic 2024 recruiting class. This group already has two four-star commits: forward Gevonte Ware and point guard Lino Mark. Even with the 5-star freshmen likely around for just one season, expect Merrimack transfer Jordan Derkack and freshman wing Bryce Dortch to be around for the following year. Plus, Rutgers could be trying to get more stars in the 2025 class, too.

West Virginia Mountaineers

New Coach Darian DeVries missed out on Lino Mark to Rutgers but is hoping to bounce back with Odih. They're a rebuilding program with multiple senior wings, including transfers Tucker DeVries and Toby Okani.

Without any commits in the 2025 class, West Virginia could offer Odih plenty of potential playing time as soon as next year. It may be a rebuilding situation where winning isn't a guarantee but getting on the court will be a sure thing. We'll see where he ends up soon.
