Thanks to NIL, it has become as appealing as ever for quality international players to want to play in NCAA Basketball. One of the more notable ones to announce their intentions of coming to the states is Oscar Goodman, a 6'7 combo forward from New Zealand. He's been a standout for the national team in various international events, thanks to his shooting and shot-creation.

Goodman, who has gotten attention from NBA scouts, is down to four teams. Which of them is the best potential option for him? Here's a closer look at how he'd fit with each of them.

Georgetown Hoyas

Georgetown's wing situation includes mainly TCU transfer Micah Peavy, along with several sophomore transfers such as Curtis Williams, Jordan Burks, and Drew McKenna. The young core is unproven, which makes this a viable option for Goodman now. However, if they end up being double-digit rotation pieces, then a logjam would emerge for the target.

Michigan Wolverines

Compared to Georgetown, Michigan doesn't have any real depth, outside of reserve forward, Jace Howard. Senior Nimari Burnett will likely start there and is gone after this season, while Alabama transfer Sam Walters will play the 3/4 spots in the frontcourt. Goodman would get minutes here and possibly even start as a freshman.

Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State's wing rotation includes transfer Micah Parrish, who'll be gone after this season. Unless sophomore Devin Royal has a breakout campaign, there could be open room to land Goodman in the 2025 class. That's the one position of need in the next recruiting group and more importantly, beating rival Michigan is also a key goal for the Buckeyes in this battle.

Texas Tech Red Raiders

Texas Tech's roster has the chance to be effective on the defensive end but there's not a ton of a scoring pop. And with Kerwin Walton leaving after this season, there's a need for Goodman to come in and have an impact on the offensive end. Another scorer would be big for a program looking to compete for a top-tier spot in the Big 12.

Of the four teams, Michigan and Texas Tech stand out regarding the potential of immediate playing time. However, Coach Ed Cooley of Georgetown has the biggest resume of any when it comes to player development. Let's see which of these programs can land this top-100 caliber prospect.
