There are plenty of quality NCAA Basketball prospects from down south, including via Mississippi. In the 2025 class, the best player on paper is Jamarion Davis-Fleming, a 6'9 big man from Canton. He's a quality athlete for a big man who's known for his interior defense, including as a pure shot-blocker.

Davis-Fleming is set to play in the south in college, based on who his four team finalists are. Which of them is the best potential fit based on the current rosters? Here's a look at who he's considering.

James Madison Dukes

Although all of the key pieces from last season's NCAA Tournament group (including the HC) are gone, the program still looks to remain the class of the Sun Belt. Ebenezer Dowuona and Elijah Hutchins-Everett, two centers who'll be gone after this year, were among the transfers they added. Davis-Fleming would be the highest-ranked commit ever for the program and he'd be the focal point of the offense out of the gate and thrive in the Sun Belt.

LSU Tigers

The Tigers' frontcourt situation includes senior Daimon Collins and JUCO transfer Noah Boyde. Even with four-star forward commit Matthew Gilhool in the fold, there's a need for a center to join the 2025 class, with a chance for immiedate minutes. But is LSU good enough as a team for Davis-Fleming to leave Mississippi? That's tough considering their recent struggles.

Mississippi State Bulldogs

Not only can Coach Chris Jans sell his program being an NCAA Tournament team but also one that can develop big men, with Tolu Smith being the most recent example. However, there's a potential logjam Davis-Fleming would have to deal with, as the team has not only two sophomore transfers (Michael Nwoko and Jeremy Foumena) on the roster but also has class of 2025 center commit, Chol Machot. He might be better than them but will have work to do to claim a rotation spot.

Ole Miss Rebels

Coach Chris Beard has added a few frontcourt pieces to the roster, including a couple (Mikeal Brown-Jones and Ja'Von Benson), who'll be gone after this season. There is freshmen center and top-40 prospect John Bol but there will be room for another big man to join him in a future rotation.

All four teams certainly have some pros and cons for Davis-Fleming to consider but on paper, Ole Miss may offer the best of all worlds, including the chance to stay close to home. We'll find out his decision on Tuesday.
