Overtime Elite is one of the top high school basketball programs in the country, with many star players going down there to develop and then go on to college or even the pro ranks. One of the players on the current roster is Jackson McVey, a consensus 3-star center prospect in the 2025 NCAA Basketball recruiting class.

At 7'1,"McVey has the size to be a factor at the next level and is a native of Georgia. Plenty of programs in the region have shown interest, and now, there are five in the mix. Here's a look at how he'd fit with each option.

Florida Gators

Coach Todd Golden enjoys having frontcourt depth, including back when he was at San Francisco. The Gators not only have Micah Handlogten but also Alex Condon and incoming transfer, Rueben Chinyelu. That doesn't even include freshman Viktor Mikic and 7'6 center prospect Olivier Rioux. Even if a couple leaves a year from now, there's too much of a logjam for another big to realistically join.

Florida State Seminoles

In the Coach Leonard Hamilton era, FSU usually has several bigs in a rotation. But thanks to transfer departures, the depth is as limited for them as ever. They have room for McVey to have an immediate impact but the key is whether or not Coach Hamilton will be around for the long haul during the player's time in college.

Georgia Bulldogs

The Seminoles will have one of the youngest frontcourts in all of NCAA Basketball this season, led by 5-star bigs, Asa Newell and Somto Cyril. Outside of Cyril, there's no real depth behind him at the five-spot. This is a spot where McVey could get minutes for an SEC team and stay close to home.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

As the other local option, the Jackets are looking for its replacement for Georgetown transfer Ryan Mutombo, who is gone after this season. 4-star freshman Doryan Onwuchewa could be the starter for the next few years so that's something to watch here.

Stanford Cardinal

Stanford will be losing its star center Maxime Raynaud after this season, creating a clear need for another big man to come in. There's no real logjam here if you're McVey and the school's academics is a major selling point too. We'll see how the program stands in the ACC but at least from a PT standpoint, the Cardinal should have a chance here.
