By the time you’re reading this there’s less than a full week left in February, which means we truly are on the doorstep of March Madness. Nearly four months of college basketball action have led us to these very moments and you know that teams around the nation are ready for their moments to come.
Names have been made, reputations have built, and resumes have been created over these last few months but it’s the month of March when the dreams really come true. Young kids and teens around the nation picture their big moment hitting the buzzer beater and the NCAA Tournament is when just a few of those dreams become reality, for elite prospects and unknown heroes alike.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves because we’re certainly not there yet. The calendar still reads February and there’s a lot of basketball left before Selection Sunday. Even though just three weeks remain, we’ll see conference races decided and plenty of hearts broken in the coming days. This entire season we’ve been watching the best of the best making impacts on the national stage and you better believe that we’re ready to see just who looms large in March.
With the waning weeks of the regular season at our attention, we’re looking back over these last few days and making some necessary changes to our Top 25 rankings. Weighing recent injuries, standout performances, and shocking wins, let’s get right into this week’s ranking.
