The three-seed Iowa State Cyclones and six-seed Ole Miss Rebels are set to meet in one of the most intriguing Round of 32 matchups in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday evening. Guard Tamin Lipsey returned to the starting lineup to give the Cyclones a two-way boost in a dominant 82-55 win over the 14-seed Lipscomb Bisons in the Round of 64.
Iowa State outscored Lipscomb by double digits in both halves, while showing efficient offense on a 54 percent field goal percentage on Friday.
It was a tougher fight for head coach Chris Beard and Ole Miss to emerge victorious in the Round of 64 this week. Led by starting guard Sean Pedulla, Ole Miss shot 40 percent from beyond the arc to keep the offense going to kick off the NCAA Tournament yesterday.
Beard and the Rebels fended off a big second-half rally from guard RJ Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels to hang on for a 71-64 opening-round win on Friday.

Ole Miss vs Iowa State prediction
Not only was it big for head coach TJ Otzelberger and the Cyclones to get Lipsey back in the starting lineup this week against Lipscomb, but they could also see fellow starting guard Keshon Gilbert return to the backcourt unit vs. Ole Miss tomorrow.
An Iowa State squad that is getting back to full strength on both ends of the floor is a scary sight for any opponents ahead in the NCAA Tournament.
