ACC Basketball had a fairly strong start to the season, with several teams having impressive performances. That included Duke and North Carolina, the traditional powerhouses in the conference. The big question was going to be whether or not the middle would be strong enough for the league to be closer to 8-9 bids to the NCAA Tournament, instead of the 4-5 range they've been used to.

After a few weeks of league play, it's starting to look like the ladder. There are several reasons for that, including some teams with original NCAA Tournament hopes starting to fade, while those at the bottom have been more feisty than expected, causing some early upsets.

At this point, everyone has at least one ACC win, while one is without a loss to this point. The question is how does everyone look before games get going this week? Here's a look at the latest power rankings.

15. Louisville Cardinals - 6-10 (1-4)

After getting blown out by Pittsburgh and Virginia, the Cardinals looked destined to go winless in league play and end the Kenny Payne era. But to their credit, the team got one of the biggest upsets of the season last week, beating Miami on the road, 80-71. Mike James had 26 points, while forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield went for 22 points and nine rebounds.

Louisville nearly had another upset, taking NC State down to the wire on Saturday. While they still remain in last, they've shown themselves to be a threat going forward. They'll look to play spoiler up next against Wake Forest and UNC on the road.
