14. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - 8-8 (1-4)

When Georgia Tech beat Duke in December, the Yellow Jackets looked to be genuine threats in the ACC once league play got going. However, things have gone completely downhill for them since, currently on a five-game losing streak. That includes home losses to both Notre Dame and Boston College, two of the easiest opportunities for wins.

Freshmen Baye Ndongo and Naithan George have been impact players and promising players for the future. But shooting issues both from three-point range and on the free throw line have hurt their odds of winning. But as their efforts against Duke have shown, GT can be a threat against anyone. They have a chance to play spoiler against both Clemson and Virginia this week.

13. Notre Dame Fighting Irish - 7-11 (2-5)

Ever since they lost by 20 points to The Citadel, Notre Dame has been very feisty in league play. They defeated both Virginia and Georgia Tech, with the other losses all being in single digits. The latest loss came on Monday against Boston College, 63-59.

Markus Burton, the lone double-digit scorer on the roster, finished with 19 points. He’s made a quiet All-ACC case with his production but the team isn’t going to be good enough to boost him. But they’ve shown to be a problem in league play for teams that may sleepwalk them. Miami and Boston College again are up next for them.
